Koncem května jsme se s manželkou a dětmi (13 a 15) vydali na 10 dnů do Norska. U Benzini Campers jsme si objednali Golema. Měl jsem obavy jestli se v tomto autě vyspíme všichni čtyři, ale obavy byly zbytečné. Tento vůz je prostě legenda, která poskytuje dostatečný komfort i pro 4 cestující. Vozidlo bylo čisté, plně vybavené bez jakýchkoli nedostatků. Při vyzvednutí nám bylo vše plně vysvětleno, vrácení proběhlo bez jakýchkoli komplikací. Majitelé jsou úžasní lidé, kteří vám vyjdou ve všem vstříc a vždy ochotně poradí. We rented the Hobbit camper for 3 weeks to make our way around Norway and to see the endless beautiful sights & sounds Norway has to offer! The van worked flawlessly the entire time, there was plenty of room and it felt extremely comfortable and spacious for two people! Very easy to drive even on the narrow winding Norwegian roads. It is set up extremely well & all the features are very simple to use, plus with it having the shower, toilet & hot water system that made it perfect for us wild camping which saved us a lot on camp ground fees. What was even more surprising to me was in the entire 3 weeks we never had to stop and plug into power to charge the accessories battery once, which is an issue we’ve had with other campervan companies having to stop and plug in everyday so the battery doesn’t go flat even after driving all day. We have travelled a few countries via campervan and Benzini was our best experience by far, Lenka looked after us and made everything so easy for us! Communication was great and we got plenty of advice from her before hitting the road and a couple of recommendations for us to stop at along the way. We paid a 50% deposit for a 2 week hire of a VW transporter type campervan in September 2025. Unfortunately in June 2025 our travel plans changed and we could no longer use this campervan. We contacted the company and Lenka refunded all of our deposit back (minus bank fees), on the same day we emailed her. There was absolutely no delay. We feel that this demonstrates the ethics of this company and they would be very fair with hiring their vans. Lenka was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process of booking and unfortunately cancelling. She was active in the website chat, via email and on the phone. We purchased a 14 day itinerary from Benzini which was very detailed and included hikes and sites to see. We thought this was money well spent. We drove Wolf around Norway for 10 days in may 2025 and didn’t have any issues whatsoever. The van is spacious and comfortable for two people, easy to manage and drive and great to sleep in. We were total beginners on campervan travelling but the Benzini campers crew really made everything so simple and easy for us, it was a blast! The communication with the company ran smoothly and we got plenty of advice from them before hitting the road. From start to finish, booking a campervan holiday was a real pleasure and Benzini Campers made sure our Norway road trip was something to remember for a long time. With outstanding communication, tending to our specific needs and making sure everything was in place, we could not fault Benzini for providing an outstanding service. We rented one of the city campers, Danta. It came fully equipped with everything we needed. The vehicle handover and return was super easy and driving the campervan was just awesome. We did a 9 days rental and it was the best holiday we've been on. If your thinging about renting a campervan, then these guys are simply the best in Norway. We had the joy of living the camper life in Norway for a couple of weeks in July 2024. At first, we were a little hesitant about going this route, but a YouTube review by Helen and Tim encouraged us to look into Benzini further — and we're so glad we did! Benzini Campers provided everything we needed to make our adventure a success. Their communication was prompt, their website is packed with helpful information, and the whole process was clear and straightforward, with no guesswork involved. The van itself ("Wolf") served us perfectly, offering a surprising amount of torque and power from its diesel engine. As their website and videos promised, it came fully equipped, allowing us to roam freely and stay at some of the best camping spots I've ever experienced — including an unforgettable night parked right on the beachfront of a fjord, at the edge of a small, picture-perfect Norwegian fishing village. I also highly recommend purchasing Benzini’s multi-day itinerary. It took much of the stress out of planning and ensured we made the most of our time. The itinerary struck a thoughtful balance between Norway’s iconic highlights and personal, insider recommendations — the kind only someone who truly knows the land can offer. In summary: we were able to unplug and experience Norway up close, on our own schedule, thanks to the freedom a camper van provides. It was probably the best vacation we’ve ever had.
