Location

Just like all our campervans, Rockford’s home is in Sandefjord town, 15 minutes from Torp Airport and 1,5 hours from Oslo. Those three locations are the locations where we deliver the campervans, personally to you. Both Sandefjord and Oslo are great starting points to embark on an unforgettable road trip in Norway.

Winter-ready

This campervan is a custom-made one, ready for any weather conditions. Because in Norway, you never know if July will be 25 or 5 degrees, a powerful parking heater comes in handy. Too hot? Besides passive ventilation in the roof window, you can open it and get in some fresh arctic air.

Layout

The bed in Rockford is spacious (160×190 cm) and very easy to set up. All bedding follows in the campervan, together with pillows, sheets and covers. While the bed is not in use, it works as a sofa. You can put a camping table inside, play table games or enjoy a nice dinner.

Kitchen

Speaking of dinner, this campervan comes with an indoor kitchen with plenty of space in the cupboards. There is a double gas stove with 2 kg gas bottle. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils you might need for camping cooking. There is a sink with running water, with a freshwater tank of 25 L. To keep your groceries cool, a compressor fridge can run during your whole trip thanks to a leisure battery.

Electricity

The fridge and all electric devices such as lights, USB outlets and a diesel heater are powered by a leisure battery that charges while driving. You can charge your devices by plugging them into USB ports or you can add a voltage converter to your campervan rental and charge at 220 V while driving.

Driving

For the driving part of your journey, Rockford has 3 front seats. An automatic transmission and cruise control are there for the ultimate comfort on long trips. There are many storage compartments in the cab, including a Bluetooth and DAB radio and just as in all of our campervans a phone holder.

We hired our camper with them because we were looking for unlimited millage so as to feel free to travel Norway without worries. We stayed during a week with Rockford van. Our experience with them was so good. They contacted us to arrange the pick up before our arrival and moved to the train station for us to be easier. They’re a very nice and ready to help. During our days in Norway there was an emergency alert due to rain and floods, they informed us about the situation and adviced us in order to have a great and secure trip. We had a wonderful experience renting from Benzini. We rented the Rockford model for 10 days and really enjoyed taking it around the west fjords and Trollstigen area. The bed was super comfortable and the automatic Ford transit campervan drove really well. We stayed warm with the heater at night and the blankets provided were cozy. The cooking space was very convenient with a sink, two burner stove, and all the things you need to make full meals on the road. Lenka and Vlado were great and provided awesome communication and service from beginning to end. You can tell they really take care of their customers like they are family. We would definitely rent again from Benzini and would recommend to our friends and family. Love that they donate from each rental, a food donation to a local dog shelter in Central Slovakia. Love that! ❤️🚐

My cousin and I spent 15 nights in the Rockford van and had a blast. We had an ambitious plan but were fully supported by both the van and the Benzini crew. Such a positive experience, would highly recommend. Lenka was extremely helpful and accomodating ☺️

I had a wonderful time with my camper rental with Benzini campers. The car was cozy, comfortable, safe and a reliable companion for my 7 day adventure in Norway (as a first time visitor). The owners are also incredibly helpful, responsive and just very nice people which significantly contributed to my super pleasant experience. If I had more time and came earlier (before the season ended) I would’ve rented longer. If you’re looking for a unique experience while visiting Norway, I highly recommend renting a camper van and from this company. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it. We were super happy with our van rental from Benzini. “Rockford” was the perfect size and came equipped with everything we needed for comfortable sleeping and cooking. The van was in great condition and had no issues. The staff were friendly and made the pickup and drop off simple. Would recommend Benzini to anyone and happily rent with them again.
