Tufto Camping

Until recently, this campsite was discovered only by true adventurers. The road leading to Bakka village doesn’t feel like it leads to civilization, let alone to such a beautiful place. However, once you drive out of the tunnel, breathtaking views open up.

The campsite is located on the shore of the UNESCO World Heritage fjord, Nærøyfjord. You will be warmly welcomed by a farmer Olav who will make sure you have a perfect stay at his small campsite. Here you can enjoy the views, or go swimming. Nearby is the popular Rimstigen hike, which offers one of the best views of the fjord.

The campsite is situated on Olav’s farm, where he takes care of his goats. Therefore, pets are not allowed. The facilities include showers, WCs, a sink for washing dishes, water fill-up (no grey water or toilet disposal) and Wi-Fi. A washing machine is planned for next season. Additionally, a Wild Sauna at a nearby campsite can be booked online.

Romsdalen Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in Norway, with stunning mountains on both sides and a rich salmon river running through it. The whole package makes this location worth the stay.
