Location
Just like all our campervans, Hobbit’s home is in Sandefjord town, 15 minutes from Torp Airport and 1,5 hours from Oslo. You can pick it up at any of our rental locations, where we will meet you in person to familiarise you with the campervan.
Layout & Sleeping
In the front, you will find two single seats, both on a swivel base that lets you rotate the seats when camping. In the back part of the vehicle is a full double bed. Duvets, pillows and bedding are included in the campervan. There are windows with shades and mosquito nets on all sides of the vehicle.
Kitchen
The indoor kitchen has a double gas stove fueled by an 11 kg gas bottle, a sink with running water (warm) and 95 l fresh and 90 l grey water tanks. The front-loading 90 l fridge will keep your beer cold. The cupboard is filled with all the necessary dishes and utensils you might need for your camping cooking (list below), and a lot of storage space is left for your groceries.
Bathroom and storage
In the middle of the campervan, there is a small bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The water can be heated up by gas only. Plenty of storage compartments are located above and under the main bed.
Electricity
When the camper is not connected to an external power source (wild camping), only the lights, USB ports, fridge, auxiliary heater, and water tap function.
When the camper is connected to the external power source (at campsite), in addition to the above-mentioned features, the 230 V outlets also work.
Driving
For the ultimate comfort during the driving part of your journey, Hobbit features cruise control, comfy armrests, storage compartments in the cab, a DAB radio and Bluetooth to play music. The campervan runs on diesel, and its 90-litre tank can drive you up to 1000 km away!

The van was easy to drive, super cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed. The people from the rental company were a pleasure to meet—helpful, engaged and very friendly. They made the entire rental process incredibly easy, everything went smoothly from pickup to drop-off. I would gladly book with them again in the future!Posted on Google Roy Goedman16. Posted on Google Anže Kumer16. June, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Z Benzini Campers sva imela res super izkušnjo. Posted on Google Aldo Mimbella14. June, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely recommend if you are looking for a camper to get around. This is one of our favorite ways to explore other countries and Vlad and team were super helpful, even helping us get a pickup for the campervan at the end of our trip last notice. Equipment worked great and Vlad and his team were helpful when we had to reach out during the rental!Posted on Google Tamás Bereci12. June, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent a 7 day roadtrip in one of Benzini’s campers, driving around 1500 km. The van (Henry) was a great compact camper, it was equipped with everything needed, like kitchen utensils, gas stove, fridge and bedding. The parking heater is appreciated and many times definitely needed during the chilly evenings/mornings (we were there in June and used it almost every day). I expected the bed to be not so good because of the limited space and possibilities in a campervan, but to my surprise we have found it very comfortable. There are plenty of USB ports in the driving area (the car has AppleCarplay and AndroidAuto) as well as in the sleeping area for phone charging. (Be aware that these are USB-A ports, so bring proper cables.) I would definitely recommend getting the camping table+chairs addon, they come in handy when you are having or preparing a meal, or just want to chill outside. The guys from Benzini Campers are really friendly and helpful, awesome customer service. The pick-up and drop-off were smooth. All in all, it was a super experience. 100% would recommend to anyone!Posted on Google Nina Golob8. June, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughters and I took four days to explore western Norway, and thanks to the Blueberry (the blue van), we created memories that will stay with us forever! The owner, Lenka, was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Her recommendations turned out to be on the spot and made our trip even better. We also really appreciated the simple and hassle-free handover of the van. It’s always nice to be treated in such a personal way rather than feeling like just another customer. We would happily rent the Blueberry again in the future. A huge thank you for helping make our trip so special!Posted on Google Maria Stat4. June, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was our first time renting a camper van, and it definitely won’t be our last! Benzini Campers made us fall in love with the entire experience. The Rockford van was incredibly comfortable, and it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought through, from its beautiful design to all the practical conveniences that made life on the road easy and enjoyable. Lenka, one of the owners, was fantastic throughout the process. She provided excellent travel tips and plenty of useful advice that helped make our first camper van adventure very smooth. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to van travel and would highly recommend Benzini Campers to anyone considering a road trip in Norway, they are the perfect choice for a great adventure.Posted on Google Fernando Prieto Barreiro4. June, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A lovely experience. They’re very attentive and friendly, and were always there for us. They make the trip easier and more relaxed. The campervan was in excellent condition. Their assistant, Bruno, was also very friendly; he treated us very well and helped us every step of the way. I’d definitely rent a campervan from them again, because they’re not like your typical franchise. I’d recommend them 100 per cent.Posted on Google Angela29. May, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. May-2026, 16-day rental of the Rockford Jr. campervan for two females from the United States, picked up at the Sandefjord train station. Booking the campervan online was incredibly easy. Any questions we had before and during our trip were answered within minutes via email or chat. The employees were some of the nicest people we’ve ever worked with! The van was perfect for the two of us. We had rented a similar campervan in Iceland the year before for two weeks, so we already knew the size would work well for our needs. We specifically did not want a larger vehicle. The campervan drove great, and we experienced no issues throughout our trip. Pickup was scheduled for 4:00 PM, and someone was there right on time. The same was true for drop-off at 11:00 AM. The van was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. We added a table and chairs, as well as wireless internet. We also chose full-coverage insurance, roadside assistance, and every available protection option to make the trip as stress-free as possible. We drove all the way to the Lofoten Islands and back, creating memories that will last a lifetime. For anyone renting from the United States, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with Norwegian road signs before your trip—they’re very different from what we have at home. The night before returning the campervan, I recommend staying at Åsnes Campsite. The owner was amazing and allowed us to wash and clean the campervan before drop-off. 10/10 — I highly recommend renting from Benzini! We made lifelong memories, and after this experience, I can confidently say that traveling Norway by campervan is absolutely the way to go.Posted on Google Andrew Simile11. May, 2026.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great overall experience with Benzini! Our van (the Dante) ran like a dream and accommodated all our camping needs perfectly. As a first-time campervan driver, it was very easy to learn and use all the features of the van. I also have to thank Lenka for being so kind, informative, and patient with us when answering our questions and getting us up to speed with the van. She even provided some recommendations of places to park overnight for certain legs of the trip, which was very helpful. If you are able, I would highly recommend experiencing Norway in a campervan. It gave us a lot of flexibility for our itinerary and the view outside the window was always stunning (especially the fjords!).
