Choosing a campervan Wolf for your camping trip around Norway gives you a well-thought and reliable vehicle. It’s a beast always hungry for new adventures, but not too hungry for fuel since its consumption is only 6 l/100 km!

Location

Like all our campervans, Wolf’s home is in Sandefjord town, 15 minutes from Torp Airport (TRF) and 1,5 hours from Oslo. Those three locations are where we personally deliver the campervans to you. Both Sandefjord and Oslo are great starting points to embark on an unforgettable campervan road trip in Norway.

Layout

This compact VW campervan is a well-designed vehicle with lots of smart functions. In the front, you will find two single seats, both on a swivel base. The rear seat comes with two seat belts and works as a foldable bed for two as well. The second bed for two is found under the pop-up roof, which can be also secured to the ceiling while open and gives you enough space to stand in the car. The pop-up roof has side “walls” made out of tent fabric with insect nets in its windows. Sleeping bags follow in the campervan, together with pillows, sheets and bedding. To have nice and cosy nights on your trip in whatever weather, the campervan comes with a parking heater that can run for a whole night.

Kitchen

The indoor kitchen comes with a double gas stove fueled by a 2 kg gas bottle, a sink with running water (cold) and 30 l fresh and grey water tanks. The top loading 30 l fridge will keep your beer cold. The cupboard is filled with all the necessary dishes and utensils you might need for your camping cooking.

Storage

The back of the campervan has several small storage places, great for your personal things that you need to have by hand. Wolf is a compact campervan and the space for your luggage is limited.

Electricity

All electric devices such as a fridge, lights, USB outlets and a diesel heater are powered by two leisure batteries that charge while you drive. If you need more power, you can connect the campervan to 220 V at camping sites. Charge your devices by plugging them into USB ports or you can add a voltage converter to your campervan rental and charge at 220 V while driving.

Driving

For the ultimate comfort during the driving part of your journey, Wolf is equipped with cruise control, has comfy armrests, storage compartments in the cab, plenty of CDs to play and just as in all of our campervans a phone holder. It is a manual transmission vehicle and runs on diesel. Its 80-litre tank can drive you up to 1000 km away!

Alquilamos el vehículo Raido durante 15 días junto a su itinerario y la experiencia ha sido fantástica. Vehículo compacto para dos personas, ideal si te organizas bien. Repetiríamos sin duda.

Lovely experience with the Raido Benzini Campervan for a 4-days roadtrip around Hardangerfjord. The staff was very friendly and flexible and the instructions were clear. The rental was the most affordable we've found so it's worth going to Sandefjord for a night to pick the van up there. I strongly recommand that option!

The team at Benzini were all super helpful, and the van we rented was fitted out perfectly! We highly reccommend Benzini to anyone exploring options, we couldn't have asked for anything more!

Renting a car is very easy, the car itself is very well prepared for such trips, the sleeping is very comfortable, fuel consumption is minimal. I definitely recommend it!

We had a really amazing experience with Benzini. Right from the beginning the website was clear and pricing fair. We purchased the itinerary to give us ideas of where we might want to go and found that very helpful. I was a bit anxious about the comfort and sleeping in the van. I need not have worried! We hired the Rockford and it was perfect for 2 adults. Lots of room in the bed and surprisingly comfortable! The van design was excellent. The fridge was just the right size and kept the important wine and beer chilled! (Top tip - buy your alcohol at the airport in Oslo before you collect your bags. Much better price than in the supermarket!). The van came with all the cooking utensils you could need and the hob worked well. There were usb chargers, but we also chose to rent the voltage adaptor which meant we could charge things whilst driving. We travelled in June and were lucky with the weather. It was chilly one night and we popped the heater on for a while , the van was lovely and toasty within 10 mins!! We drove up to Eidfjord to explore the fjords and then across to Rosendal and back down via Rjukan and the Telemark canal. We can highly recommend the Sæbo camping site at Øvre Eidfjord- an incredible position and a stunning walk at Hjølmaberget. Other highlights include the Hardangervidda Natursenter, Vøringfossen waterfalls and Bondhusvatnet lake walk at Sunndal. We loved the freedom of the van and it tackled tight hairpin mountain roads with zeal! We loved all the stopping places along the way and really felt we got a taste or Norway. The contrast between Hardangervidda (still snowy!), the fjords and then the beautiful hot coast at snes camping was delightful, and there were unexpected surprises at every corner! For example, we also found a surprise sauna at Rosendal camping! As a company we can’t rate Benzini any more highly. Lenka was kind and welcoming at collection and it was a pleasure to leave the van in Bruno’s hands at the end. We covered around 1200km and fuel wasn’t more than £100, tolls only £10 and no ferry’s on our route.

A fantastic experience all around. The van was easy to drive, super cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed. The people from the rental company were a pleasure to meet—helpful, engaged and very friendly. They made the entire rental process incredibly easy, everything went smoothly from pickup to drop-off. I would gladly book with them again in the future!

Z Benzini Campers sva imela res super izkušnjo.
